Through this program, we aim to reach 150+ women from across different communities and villages in Changthang. The adult night classes and skill training workshops consist of financial literacy workshops, skill development in weaving, sewing and local handicrafts and connecting them with future employers.

This will ensure that women can also serve as heads of their families in equal capacities as well as lead local movements. We envision a future led by women entrepreneurs and leaders who will bring their innate values of compassion, understanding of their stories and active engagement with their communities to the forefront.

Past Projects

Our founders have served Changthang in several capacities over the years. Some of their successful past projects include:

• Running successful waste management, cultural awareness and skill training workshops in several villages of Changthang

• Collecting and compiling primary data about existing demographics, employment opportunities and existing educational institutions within the Changthang region to submit a report to the UT Ladakh government

• Successfully setting up local businesses that employ and work closely with local residents (Dakzhun)
